New Fused Indole Derivatives from Lactam-Containing m-Cyclophanes.

-As part of a program aimed at the functionalizing of the bridging chain of m-cyclophanes, a new approach to seven-membered ring-fused indole derivatives through NBS-bromination of the m-cyclophanelactam ( I) is discovered.
