Abstract

Light yellow hexagonal‐shaped single crystals of the new title compound are hydrothermally synthesized from mixtures of NaVO~3~, Ga~2~O~3~, and I~2~O~5~ (H~2~O, autoclave, 200 °C, 4 d, 83% yield).
