✦ Synopsis
1997 indole derivatives, isoindole derivatives indole derivatives, isoindole derivatives R 0140 41 -146 Modulation of Metal-Fluorophore Communication to Develop Structurally Simple Fluorescent Sensors for Transition Metal Ions. -Fluorophores (I) show significant fluorescence enhancement in the presence of transition-metal ions. It is shown that metal-fluorophore communication can be directly modulated to develop structurally much simpler photoinduced electrontransfer fluorosensors. Moreover, the fluorescence enhancement in the presence of Fe(III) and Cr(III) is observed for the first time. -(RAMACHANDRAM,
