The Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling of sterically hindered and electron-rich ortho,ortho 0 -substituted aryl halides with potassium vinyltrifluoroborate utilizing microwave irradiation has been conducted while adjusting solvent ratio, irradiation time, and catalyst loading to find optimal conditions.
