Longithorones, Unique Prenylated Para-and Metacyclophane Type Quinones from the Tunicate Aplidium longithorax.
-Three novel monomeric C21 and five novel dimeric C24 meta-and paracyclophane type longithorones are isolated. All compounds have restricted rotations in their macrocyclic rings resulting in atropisomerism.
