Hydrate Borate. -Violet, air-and water-resistant crystals of the title compound are synthesized from a stoichiometric mixture of Co3O4 and H3BO3 (Walker-type multianvil apparatus, 6 GPa, 880 °C, 5 min). The new high--pressure phase is characterized by powder and single crystal XRD, IR, and Raman spe
