โœฆ Synopsis

Kailuins A-D, New Cyclic Acyldepsipeptides from Cultures of a Marine-Derived Bacterium. -Kailuins A (Ia), B (Ib), C (Ic), and D (Id) represent a new class of lipopeptides, produced by a Gram-negative bacterium obtained from driftwood. The absolute configuration of the amino acid moieties is determined, but not the chirality of the ฮฒ-carbinol position. The title compounds exhibit mild cytotoxicity towards several human tumor cell lines. -(HARRIGAN, G.
