Abstract

A novel Fe(II)—binaphthyl‐based phenanthroline complex is successfully applied as catalyst in the asymmetric epoxidation of acyclic β,β‐disubstituted enones to give the corresponding oxiranes (II) and (V) in up to 92% optical purity.
