Single‐phase TiO~2~ (B) nanoparticles are synthesized from TiCl~4~ and water in a mixture of 1‐hexadecyl‐3‐methylimidazolium chloride and 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate at 95 °C (14 h).
