Part 88. Donor/Acceptor Complexes of Alkylbenzenes, Pyrene or Perylene with Tetrahalogen-pbenzoquinones: Structures and Properties.

-The crystal structures of the mixed-stack title donor/acceptor complexes are determined and reveal that none of the complexes exhibits neither in the donor nor in the acceptor components significant structural changes due to complex formation. The different charge transfer in the ground and excited states of the complexes is discussed in terms of cyclovoltammetric reduction potentials as well as semiempirical calculations. -(BOCK, H.; SIEVERT, M.;
