Interaction of 3,3-Disubstituted 6-Trifluoromethyl-2,3-dihydro-4pyrones with Hydrazine Hydrate.
-Reaction of 3,3-disubstituted-6trifluoromethylpyrones (I) with hydrazine hydrate affords the 6-trifluoromethyl-6-hydrazinopyrone derivatives (II) which undergo a recyclization to the pyrazole derivative (III) on heating and form the dipyrone azines (IV) on acidic hydrolysis. The reaction of compound (II) to the derivatives (III) and (IV) is proposed to go via the 3,3-disubstituted-6-trifluoromethylpyrone hydrazine intermediate (V), a cyclic isomer of the highly reactive trifluoropropynylketone hydrazone.
