-The oxidative reaction of disulfides (I) and thiophenols (IV) occurs readily in a single step to give the sulfinic esters (III) and (V), respectively. Simple procedure, easily accessible starting materials, non-toxic agents, better yields, and mild conditions are the advantages of this method.
