Hydrogen Transfer Hydrozirconation of Alkenes with iBuZrCp 2 Cl Catalyzed by Lewis-Acidic Metal Compounds Containing Al, Zn, Si, Ag, and Pd. -The hydrozirconation reaction of monosubstituted alkenes with ZrCl(iBu)(Cp) 2 is significantly improved under catalysis of Lewis acids such as AlCl 3 , Me 3 SiI, ZnCl 2 , or several palladium catalysts. By use of the proper catalyst, the hydrozirconation can be selectively carried out in the presence of ether [cf. (IIIb), (IIIc)] or ester groups [cf.
