✦ Synopsis
Heterocyclic-Fused 3(2H)-Pyridazinones as Potent and Selective PDE IV Inhibitors: Further Structure-Activity Relationships and Molecular Modeling Studies. -Among a variety of title compounds the derivatives (III) and (IV) emerged as the most interesting PDE IV inhibitors. Compared with Rolipram (III) and (IV) also show a remarkably better balance between potency and affinity for the Rolipram binding site, which is believed to be responsible for undesirable side effects. -(DAL PIAZ, VITTORIO;
