Heterocycles with a β-Nitroenamine Fragment. Part 2. Synthesis of 2-Amino-3-nitropyrano[3,2-c]pyrans and 2-Amino-3-nitropyrano[3,2c]chromenes from Nitroacetonitrile.

-The Et 3 N-catalyzed reaction of arylidenenitroacetonitriles (I) with pyrone derivatives (II) results in the formation of the title pyranopyran derivatives (III) (6 examples). Similar reaction of thiocoumarin (V) gives pyranothiopyran (VI). The crystal and molecular structure of derivative (IIIa) is determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. -(KISLYI, V.
