Heck Reactions Starting from Silyl Enol Ethers -A Simple One-Pot Nonaflation-Coupling Procedure for the Synthesis of 1,3-Dienes. -Silyl enol ethers (I) and (VIII) react with perfluorinated butanesulfonyl fluoride in the presence of catalytic amounts of Bu 4 NF. The resulting nonaflates are directly subjected to Heck-coupling with olefins to give the corresponding 1,3dienes in moderate yields.
