✦ Synopsis

HClO 4 -SiO 2 as an Efficient and Recyclable Catalyst for the Synthesis of Amide Derivatives. -Silica-supported perchloric acid is shown to be an efficient catalyst for the alkylation of amides and sulfonamides. After recycling the catalyst four times the yields are practically identical to those obtained with the fresh catalyst. -(SONG*,
