Growth Kinetics of Nanocrystalline ZnO Particles from Colloidal Suspensions.

-ZnO particles in the nanometer size regime are prepared by use of colloidal chemistry techniques. The growth kinetics follows the Lifshitz-Slyozov-Wagner theory for Ostwald ripening. The larger particles continue to grow by diffusion-limited transport of species dissolved in solution.
