Abstract

Au/Ag‐Catalyzed cycloisomerization of a variety of o‐alkynylstyrene derivatives, e.g. (I) and (VII), proceeds with moderate to high enantioselectivity (up to 92% e.e.) in the presence of an axially chiral MeO‐biphep ligand to give alkenyl‐substituted indenes (II) and (VIII), resp., in high yields.
