The Intramolecular F•••HO Hydrogen Bond of 1,3-Diaxial 3-Fluorocyclohexanols. -The ab-initio calculations of 3-fluorocyclohexanol and related systems concerning the F•••HO bonds are reported. The highly soluble rigid fluoro diols (D-I) and (L-I) are prepared and their F•••HO bonds are analyzed by IR and 1 H NMR spectroscopy.
