β¦ Synopsis
Glycosylation of Silybin.
-In order to obtain more soluble derivatives of natural silybin (I), which is an equimolar mixture of two diastereomers, glycosides such as (III) and (IV) are synthesized under optimized conditions. It is noteworthy that the use of TmsOTf or SnCl4 as Lewis acids or the condition of Helferich gives lower yields.
