Extremely Facile Formation and High Reactivity of New Thioacylsilanes Containing the Ferrocene Moiety.

-Thioacylsilanes (I) show high reactivity towards ether diazoacetate (II), dienes such as (VI), and benzonitrile oxide to provide a variety of sulfur heterocycles. Interestingly, the formation of the reagents (I) can be easily accomplished from the corresponding ketones and Lawesson reagent at room temperature due to the high increase of reactivity by the ferrocene moiety.
