Exploitation of the Ugi 4CC Reaction: Preparation of Small Molecule Combinatorial Libraries via Solid Phase.

-A study of the Ugi reaction is performed, where the aldehyde and the carboxylic acid function are intramolecularly combined in the starting material. The reaction with BuNC and primary amines gives the expected lactams and is limited to the formation of 5-and 6-membered rings.
