✦ Synopsis
Eu(fod) 3 -Catalyzed Rearrangement of Allylic Esters Possessing a Chelating Site. Application to Enediyne Synthesis.
-1,2-Dialkynyl-3-alkyl or 3-aryl allylic esters (I) possessing a chelating site undergo Eu(fod) 3 -catalyzed rearrangement to yield cis-enediynes (II) exclusively (13 examples). The chelating site is responsible for a remarkably enhanced reactivity.
