✦ Synopsis
Envirocat EPZG r as a New Heterogeneous Catalyst for the Regeneration of Ketones from Their Tosylhydrazones.
-Envirocat EPZG is found to be useful for the mild hydrolysis of hydrazones. Aldehyde hydrazones (cf. (VII)) are less reactive than ketone hydrazones suggesting a selective regeneration of ketone in the presence of aldehyde. This procedure is exemplified by the competitive hydrolysis of a mixture of (Ia) and (VIIa). -
