β¦ Synopsis
Electrochemical Investigations of SrTiO 3 Boundaries.
-The interfaces in acceptor (Fe) doped SrTiO 3 bicrystals, single crystals, and ceramics are studied applying electrochemical methods, especially impedance spectroscopy and dc polarization techniques as well as structural and chemical analyses (TEM, EDX, EELS). The results obtained with grain boundaries as well as electrode interfaces can be consistently explained by Schottky-barrier-type space-charge depletion layers. The use of reversible YBa 2 Cu 3 O 6+x electrodes improves the surface kinetics and diminish Schottky barrier effects. -(DENK,
