Abstract
The oxidative C—H activation of indoles (I) with different alkenes and ketones in the presence of Ce(O‐Ac)~3~ and β‐cyclodextrin as catalytic system proceeds regioselectively in H~2~O to afford a variety of 3‐substituted indoles in good yields.
