Effect of Various Reductants on 4-Nitroso-6-R-1,2,4-triazin-3(2H)thion-5-ones.

-In order to find a new route to N-aminotriazines, the reduction of N-nitrosotriazines (I) and (IV) with various agents is studied. Depending on the reducing conditions used, the reduction of the nitroso group to the amino group, its complete cleavage and/or the reduction of the cyclic double bonds is observed.
