Bis(disulfido) bridged Nb IV cluster oxalate complexes [Nb 2 (S 2 ) 2 (C 2 O 4 ) 4 ] 4Β± were prepared by ligand substitution reaction from the aqua ion [Nb 2 (l-S 2 ) 2 (H 2 O) 8 ] 4+ and isolated as K 4 (3). The crystal structures of 1 and 2 were determined. The crystals of 1 belong to the space
