✦ Synopsis

Detritylation of Mono-and Disaccharide Derivatives Using Ferric Chloride Hydrate. -Quantitative detritylation of mono-and disaccharide derivatives is achieved using FeCl 3 •6H 2 O under very mild conditions. A variety of O-protecting groups such as benzyl, isopropylidene, acetyl or benzoyl are stable under the designated reaction conditions. Moreover , acyl migration, anomerization or glycosidic bond breaking are not observed. -(DING, X.;
