Derivatized Oxopiperazine Rings from Amino Acids.

-Two dipeptide mimics (VII) and (XIV) are synthesized by employment of reductive amination and sulfonamide approaches for the preparation of allylic derivatives (IV) and (XIII), which are further utilized for assembling the ring systems, as is shown for (VII).
