Dehydrogenative Heck Reaction of Furans and Thiophenes with Styrenes under Mild Conditions and Influence of the Oxidizing Agent on the Reaction Rate. -Furans and thiophenes undergo C-H activation with Pd(OAc)2 to give a series of coupling products with styrenes. The method is compatible to halogenated substrates.
