Cyclization of Enantioenriched α-(Homoallyloxy)alkyllithiums: Evidence for Retention of Configuration at the Carbanion Center.
-Carbanion cyclization of the title compounds derived from the corresponding stannanes (I) and (IV) under optimized conditions is shown to proceed with complete retention of configuration to give α,β-disubstituted tetrahydrofurans.
