Crystallographic and Spectroscopic Characterization of LnFeTeO6 (Ln: La, Pr, Nd, Sm) Materials. -The title compounds are prepared by solid state reactions of stoichiometric mixtures of Ln 2O3, Fe2O3, and TeO2 (Pt crucibles, 1000 ο‚°C, 2 h). The compounds are characterized by powder XRD, FTIR, Raman, and Moessbauer spectroscopy. They are isostructural with the corresponding LnCrTeO 6 materials, belonging to a superstructure of the PbSb 2O6 type structure (space group P3, Z = 2). -(LAVAT,
