โฆ Synopsis
Nine novel title compounds are prepared by arc-melting and characterized by XRD, resistivity, susceptibility, thermoelectric power, and specific heat measurements. All compounds crystallize in the orthorhombic space group Cmcm with Z = 4 (Y2Co3Ga9 type structure). The Ce compounds show a rather unconventional behavior with features of heavy fermion compounds in the transport data and features of mixed-valent compounds in the magnetic data.
