Abstract

Eu^3+^‐doped Lu~6~WO~12~ and Lu~6~MoO~12~ obtained by a citrate complexation route followed by calcination are characterized by SEM, powder XRD, UV/VIS diffuse reflectance and photoluminescence spectroscopy, and by DFT calculations.
