✦ Synopsis

Control of Product Selectivity by a Styrene Additive in Ruthenium-Catalyzed C-H Arylation. -The selectivity in the mono-and disubstitution of acetophenones with aryl boronates (I) is investigated. Without an additive, the process gives mainly diarylation products as the major products, whereas the use of styrene results in selective formation of monoarylation products. -(HIROSHIMA, S.; MATSUMURA, D.;
