The title compounds are prepared from mixtures of LnCl~3~ (Ln: La, Ce, Pr), Ln~2~O~3~, and MoO~3~ in molar ratios of 1:1:3 (900 °C, 6 d) and characterized by powder XRD, single crystal XRD, Raman spectroscopy, and magnetic measurements.
