Chiral Organosulfur Compounds. Part 7. Chiral Sulfoxide Ligands Bearing Nitrogen Atoms as Stereocontrollable Coordinating Elements in Palladium-Catalyzed Asymmetric Allylic Alkylations. -Several chiral title sulfoxides such as (I)-(IV) (23 examples) are applied in the palladiumcatalyzed allylations of esters (V) and (VIII) with moderate enantioselectivities. The highest enantioselectivities (50 or 58%) are obtained with ligands (IIIb) and (IV), respectively.
