Chemistry of Esembeckia genus. Part 4. Dihydrochalcones and Coumarins of Esembeckia grandiflora subsp. grandiflora.

-Four coumarins including the novel compounds (I) and (-)-heraclenol (II), whose natural occurrence is reported for the first time, are isolated from the leaves and branches of Esembeckia grandiflora subsp. grandiflora (Rutaceae) and their structures are elucidated. Moreover, three novel dihydrochalcones (III), (IVa) and (IVb) are isolated and characterized.
