โœฆ Synopsis

Catalytic Heterogeneous Aziridination of Alkenes Using Microporous Materials.

-Copper-exchanged zeolite is successful in catalyzing aziridination of a range of alkenes employing Ph-I=N-Tos (II) as the nitrogen source. Modification of zeolite CuHY using a chiral ligand leads to preparation of the first heterogeneous enantioselective aziridination catalyst. The catalyst can easily be recovered from the reaction mixture by simple filtration. -
