Abstract
Use of 2‐naphthylamine as promoter in the enantioselective Friedlaender condensation of o‐aminobenzaldehydes with p‐substituted cyclohexanones provides access to tetrahydroacridine derivatives in high yields and excellent enantioselectivity (up to 95%).
