β¦ Synopsis
Bismuth Titanate Pyrochlore Microspheres: Directed Synthesis and Their Visible Light Photocatalytic Activity. -Bi2Ti2O7 microspheres are hydrothermally synthesized in high yields from an aqueous solution of Bi(NO3)3, Ti(OiPr)4, and KOH (autoclave, 180 Β°C, 24 h). The as-prepared microspheres exhibit higher photocatalytic performance in the degradation of Rhodamine B solutions under visible light irradiation than commercial P25 TiO 2 . The higher performance of the small spheres with the assistance of a small amount of H2O2 for Rhodamin B degradation indicates that Bi2Ti2O7 microspheres are promising candidates as visible-light photocatalysts. -(HOU*,
