5-Amino-1,10-phenanthroline (Aphen) was used as an organic ligand to functionalize CdS nanocrystals (NCs) by a ligand-exchange process. The functional Aphen-CdS NCs have strong luminescent emission at 552 nm and good dispersibility in the polar organic monomers. The Aphen-CdS NCs were dispersed in p
