## Abstract Four new atranones were isolated from a culture of the filamentous fungus __Stachybotrys chartarum__. In addition, several ketal derivatives of the hemiketal atranones were prepared. The structures of these new compounds were elucidated based almost entirely on NMR spectroscopic evidenc
