Anomalous Rearrangements in the Reaction of Acylpolysilanes with TMSNTf 2 .

-A novel rearrangement of acylpolysilanes (I) in the reaction with silyl triflates (II) via 1,2-migrations of Me 3 Si-and R 2 Me 2 SiO-units is reported. In this reaction no evidence for the formation of silenes is found. -
