An Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Dimeric Arsenotungstate [enH 2 ] 4 {[Cu(en) 2 ] [(A-β-H2AsW9O34)Cu(en)2]2}•8H2O Established by Two Trivacant Keggin [A-β-AsW9O34] 9-Fragments in the Opposite Orientation. -The title compound is hydrothermally synthesized from a mixture of Na8[A-α-HAsW9O34], CuCl2, ErCl3, en, NaOH, and H2O (autoclave, 160 °C, 5 d, 45% yield). It crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 with Z = 1 (single crystal XRD) and exhibits a centric dimeric structure formed by two opposite trivacant Keggin [(A-β-H2AsW9O34)Cu(en)2] 5-subunits connected by a [Cu(en)2] 2+ linker. The title compound effectively inhibits the photodegradation of rhodamine B.
