-A method for the synthesis of optically active 4-hydroxy-Ξ΄2-isoxazolines is detailed.

The procedure is based on a 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of in situ generated nitrile oxides to the camphor sultam-substituted vinylboronic ester (I) followed by oxidation. -
