โฆ Synopsis
quinones from the Marine Sponge Adocia sp.
-The structures of adociasulfates 1 (Ia), 7 (Ib), and 8 (II) are elucidated by 2D-NMR spectroscopy. Whereas bisulfate (Ia) inhibits proton pump activity in hen bone-derived membrane vesicles, monosulfate (Ib) possesses 10-fold decreased potency and adociasulfate 8 is even less active.
