Acetogenic Isoquinoline Alkaloids. Part 108. Dioncophylline D and 8-O-Methyldioncophylline D, 7,8'-Coupled Naphthylisoquinoline Alkaloids from Triphyophyllum peltatum.

-In a continuous study the isolation of the title novel alkaloids (Ia) and (Ib) from young, carnivorous title plants is described. It is noteworthy that both compounds are mixtures of their two rapidly interconverting atropisomers.
